DIRECTORS OF MWEA RICE MILLS LTD (MRM) VISIT

On March 26, 2025, the Directors of Mwea Rice Mills Ltd (MRM) a subsidiary of the National Irrigation Authority led by Chairman Board of Directors, Eng. Gibert Maluki visited the company’s massonettes in Kilimani, Leader House located on Moi Avenue and the milling plant located in Wang’uru (Mwea) Town. They were accompanied by the NIA senior managers led by CEO Eng. Charles Muasya, MBS who also doubles as the Mills Managing Director.

While in Mwea MRM offices, the Board held a candid engagement with the rice traders and agreed on working together to progressively uplift the mill and improve its working environment to attract more customers and market rice and its by products.
This will greatly improve the economic value of rice, create employment opportunities and improve livehoods of the people of Mwea contributing to the Bottom Up Transformation Agenda (BeTA).
