Lower Sabor Irrigation Development Project is located in Tembelion Location, Moiben Sub-location, Eldoret East Sub County in Uasin Gishu County. The project is targeting to develop irrigation infrastructure on 2,000 acres to benefit 750 farmers and is currently 94% complete.
The project components are:
- Intake works to off take 196l/s for irrigation of the entire scheme
- Main line
- Conveyance system for 4 No. sub branches
- Distribution system for 6No. distribution lines
- Infield system for 750 No. farmers
