H.E the President Hon. William Samoei Ruto, PhD., EGH released the Report on Evaluation of the Performance of Ministries, State Corporations and Tertiary Institutions for the financial year 2021/2022 on April 11, 2023. The Authority was ranked second in the State Corporations category with an excellent score of 1.7729. The president awarded the Authority with a trophy for the excellent performance which was received by NIA’s Chair Hon. Eng. Joshua Toro, Ag.CEO Eng. Charles Muasya, Irrigation Secretary Mr. Aboud Moeva and Head of Monitoring and Evaluation Ms. Jullyane Okello.
The president noted that excellent performance by public servants must be encouraged and rewarded. The Authority is committed to excellent service delivery, maintaining excellent performance and delivering on its core mandate of ensuring water to every irrigable acre.
