JAPANESE AMBASADOR PAYS A COURTESY CALL TO AHERO IRRIGATION SCHEME

The Japan Ambasador Mr. Okaniwa Ken on June 2, 2022 paid a courtesy call on our Ahero Irrigation Scheme. He was received by Mr. Joel Tanui, Nyanza Regional Coordinator and Western Kenya Irrigation Schemes Manager. He visited to assess progress on the implementation of CaDPERP Project, discuss future areas of collaboration in the expansion and rehabilitation of western kenya irrgation schemes, as well as enhancing the capacity of farmers to competitively produce rice of high quality. This is in line with the Big four Agenda on Nutrition and Food Security.
