NIA JOINS MOWSI IN NATIONAL TREE GROWING EXERCISE AT NAMANGA HILLS
Today, the National Irrigation Authority members of staff led by the Chairman of the Board, Eng. Gilbert Maluki and CEO, Eng. Charles Muasya, MBS joined the CS, Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, Zacharia M. Njeru, EGH, PS State Department for Irrigation CPA Ephantus Kimotho, CBS and PS State Department for Water and Sanitation Julius Korir, CBS in the National Tree Growing exercise in Namanga Hills, Kajiado County.
Target for the Namanga Hills exercise is to grow 100,000 trees where the Authority provided 50,000 indigenous trees.
The Authority is committed to fulfilling its obligation in supporting the National tree growing exercise that is meant to sustainably conserve the environment, not only for the current generation but for the future generations as well.
