The National Irrigation Authority participated in the annual Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Kisumu Regional Show held between July 22, 2019 and July 28, 2019. The show was themed, “Promoting innovation and technology in agriculture and trade”.

Agriculture and Irrigation CS Hon. Mwangi Kiunjuri accompanied by NIA GM/CEO in an inspection tour of the household and community water pans with a view of assessing their implementation progress. The project is aimed at enhancing water storage at household and community level for Irrigation and domestic use as part of the Big 4 agenda on food and nutrition security.
