NIA STAFF TRAINED ON HR POLICIES AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Today, the National Irrigation Authority (NIA) staff, led by the Deputy Director, Human Resource and Administration Ms. Victoria Aloo successfully held training session for all staff at the Head Office. The training, which is in line with the NIA’s HR Policy and Procedure Manual, aimed to equip employees with essential knowledge and skills. It was an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to professional excellence and a strong, unified workforce.

‎The session focused on a variety of key areas, including the Code of Conduct, Career Guidelines, and Performance Management frameworks. This comprehensive approach ensures that all team members are aligned with the organization’s goals and values.

The training also served as a valuable refresher, helping to enhance staff performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement across all departments. Head Office was the last service center to be sensitized after all the schemes and regions were sensitized on the same.

This initiative underscores the Management dedication to staff welfare, capacity building, and leadership development. By investing in our staff, we are not only boosting individual productivity but also strengthening the entire organization. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of the training as we continue to work together to achieve our shared vision of Irrigation for a Food Secure and Prosperous Nation.
