NATIONAL IRRIGATION AUTHORITY AT THE WASPA CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION 2025

This week, the National Irrigation Authority has joined other Water Sector stakeholders at the WASPA Conference & Exhibition 2025, taking place at Pride Inn Paradise, Mombasa until June 27, 2025.

It has been organized by WASPA-Kenya bringing together water utility providers, sanitation experts, innovators, investors, policymakers, and WASH practitioners (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) to foster collaboration, discuss best practices, showcase innovations, and drive investment in sustainable water services.

As a key player in Kenya’s water sector, the Authority is contributing to this national dialogue by showcasing how irrigation infrastructure supports climate-resilient water systems and enhances food and water security in the Country.

From community-based irrigation projects, large-scale commercial irrigation, water harvesting and storage dams, small dams and water pans, farmer-led irrigation development and ground water exploration, the Authority reinforces the message that it is important for the stakeholders in the sector to work together for sustainable development.

The Authority is exhibiting jointly with the State Department for Irrigation showcasing the impact of irrigated agriculture across the country and engaging in policy and investment conversations to strengthen water governance.

Irrigation is central to a secure and sustainable water future and the Authority is happy to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and learn from fellow water and sanitation stakeholders.
